about

Originally released on cd in 2007, this album was recorded live at The Mac in Sydney in 2006.
This recording was made on Gadigal Land.
Big thanks to all our family and friends and fans who supported Fuji.
Thankyou Pete and James who made this recording happen.
Thanks to Nate for all the gigs at The Mac, we did quite a few and we loved playing there! One b'day of mine we played there and then went and performed again at a Channel (warehouse) party late in the night until it was shut down by cops, they pulled the power and I got up on a speaker and chanted "Peaceful Party!" as loud as I could with a massive sea of doofers. I heard later the stage crew got my caramel mudcake that a mate had delivered me mid set... They so deserved it. xo

Fuji Collective Sydney, Australia

Fuji Collective music is highly imaginative, often unpredictable, and showcases the energy of all six band members thanks to the group's commitment to collective composition. Their sound traverses jazz, various forms of rock and avant-garde, but always brings it back to the funk. ... more
